It is with profound sorrow that we announce the transition of William Johnson, 75 of Morganton, who passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at his residence. Please keep the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers.

A homegoing celebration will be held Friday May 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations, with Pastor Juan Johnson serving as the eulogist; interment will follow at the Shiloh A.M.E. Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
