William Gaston Fleming, 85, of Greenville, South Carolina (formerly of Morganton) passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Prisma Health. He was the son of the late Ernest Fleming and Velma Thomas Fleming.

Surviving: Daughters, Ulanda (Vince) Fleming-Sanders, of Evansville IN., Rhonda (William) Fleming-Makell of Port Tobacco, MD, Javondra Fleming of Anderson, SC, Kasondra Fleming of Simpsonville, SC and Carmen Sexton of New Jersey, one son, Tamaaya Fleming of Greenville, SC; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary in Greenville, SC.  A final homegoing celebration will be held Saturday August 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Slades Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church; interment will follow at Olive Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
