It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of the beloved Tony Michael Duckworth, 68, of Morganton, NC. Tony was born to the late Stanley Minick Duckworth and Mildred Loray Webb on February 24, 1957. In addition to his parents Tony is preceded in death by his wife Joann Duckworth. He was a beloved father and grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors.

Left to mourn his loss but cherish his memories are his children: Tony Duckworth, Tonya Biggerstaff of Morganton, Brian Woodie of Morganton, and Trish Mitchell (Jonathon) of Raleigh; siblings: Sherry Parlier (Ricky) of Valdese, Stanley Duckworth (Cathy) of Morganton, Betty Kerley (Terry) of Taylorsville, Barbara Gragg (Kenneth) of Conover, and Jackie Evans (Steve) of Connelly Springs; as well as 12 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Carswell serving as Eulogist
