Mr. Steven  Douglas Dula, age 70, of Lenoir NC, passed away at Amorem Hospice care of Valdese NC, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born in Caldwell County on June 12, 1955, to the late James Calvin Dula Sr. and Bessie Moore Dula. Mr. Steven graduated from Lenoir High School, class of 1973. He was a dedicated hard worker for 40 years at Yale‘s and Bernhardt Furniture of Lenoir. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Donna D. Corpening; and brothers: James Dula Jr., Johnny S. Dula, and Kelvin T. Dula Senior.

Left to cherish his memories are his brother: Roland Dula (Don) of Fayetteville, NC; sister: Faith D. Banner (Rev. Jesse Banner) of Lenoir, NC; a goddaughter who cared for him dearly; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
