Reginald Allen Miller was born on February 1, 1969, to Verna Miller and Leander Hooker. Reginald was unexpectedly called home on September 9, 2025, at his home in Valdese, NC. He completed 11 Years of school but was so smart and could speak on any subject. He joined New Hope Baptist church many years ago, but in recent years he didn't attend church regularly but believed in a higher power. Reginald was a self-employed man of many talents, He loved his kids and family very much and he took care of a lot of people. He was well mannered and very much respected among his peers. He never met a stranger. Reginald loved to play basketball and favored Duke basketball team. He loved to play video games. He loved to refer to himself as "Big Reg." Reginald is preceded in death by his grandparents: Alice Tyson Hooker, George Hooker, Elma Miller, and King Miller."

Left to mourn his loss but cherish his memory are his wife: Wilma Williams Miller of Morganton; children: Reginald Allen Jermaine Miller of Morganton, Kadarius Miller of Morganton, and Aisha Miller of California; parents: Leander Hooker (Joyce) and Verna Miller Jackson; sister: Josephine Cockrell (Luther) of Charlotte; special cousins: Crystal Davis and Andrea Mack; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nephews.

A Receiving of Friends will be held from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.  We ask that you keep the Miller family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
