Paulett Marie Davis was born in Lenoir, NC on January 18, 1948 to the late Paul and Mary Frances Dabner.  She transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on July 23, 2023.  Paulett attended Freedom High School, where she was a part of the Glee Club and graduated from Lenoir High School in 1966.  Later in her life she resided in Buffalo, NY, Oakland, CA, and Cincinnati, OH.   Paulett was a loving homemaker, retired seamstress, and an entrepreneur of portrait art.  She also served as an instructor assistant of Tae Fu Chun (honorable Black Belt), and a painting contract negotiator for external and internal painting contracts.  Above all, she was a loving mother who cherished her three children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Bruce Dabner and James Dabner, and sister Sheila Dabner.  Left to mourn her loss but cherish her precious memories are her children Mark Davis, Rhashene Davis, and Anndria Davis; brothers Ronald Dabner and Michael Dabner; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Sunday July 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations, LLC; interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
