It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Ned Alexander Ervin Sr., 88, of Morganton. He peacefully transitioned on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at UNC Health Blue Ridge. Please keep the Ervin family in your thoughts and prayers.

A funeral service celebrating the life and memory of Mr. Ned Alexander Ervin Sr. will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh A.M.E. Church. Interment will follow at Shiloh A.M.E. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
