It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Nathan Roosevelt Jones, 64 of Texas (formerly of Lenoir), who departed this earthly life on Monday April 14, 2025 at his residence.  He was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Anne Witherspoon Jones, father Norfolk Roosevelt Jones, and brother Ronnie Perkins.  Left to mourn his loss are his children Joshua Little, Derek Simpson (Daneida), Lamario Jones (Donna), Nathan R. Jones Jr., Destiny Jones, and Miracle Jones; brothers Nolan Jones and Pastor Van R. Jones (Pastor Sunda), and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Nathan Roosevelt Jones will be held Saturday May 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at People's Tabernacle for God with Apostle Martin C. Wilson serving as eulogist.   Let us continue to keep the Jones and connected families in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult hour.
