Our solemn duty is to announce the transition of Myrtle Thompson,66 of Morganton, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at her residence. Please keep the Thompson family in your thoughts and prayers.

A funeral service will be held Monday May 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations, with Pastor Wesley Hendrix serving as the eulogist; interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
