James leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Donna Carson; his fiancée, Leslie Hall of 18 years; his children, Chanterica McMillian (Phillip) of Lenoir and Dionne McGimpsey of Ohio; his grandson, Brayden Ferguson; his siblings, Ameka McGimpsey of Pontiac, MI, Rickey McGimpsey of Valdese, and Rodney McGimpsey of Valdese; his mother-in-law, Frankie Burnette; 3 Aunts 3 Uncles and his special cousin, Juanita Thomas.
