Ms. Gladys Lovina Kanipe, born February 11, 1943, in Burke County, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, in her home, surrounded by family and friends.
A Receiving of Friends will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Willow Tree AME Church; followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 12:00 PM. Interment will then take place at Willow Tree AME Church Cemetery.
At the family's request, there will be no public viewing.
