Frye Faith Denise Price, aged 68 of Hickory, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born on July 24, 1956, in Caldwell County to Bobby Dean Scott and Mabel Linda Scott, she attended Lenoir High School. She was a devoted member of Gate Called Beautiful for over 15 years. Faith dedicated more than 30 years of her career to Caldwell Memorial, where she retired in 2002. During her time there, she held various roles in housekeeping, x-ray, labor and delivery, phlebotomy technology, and histology.  Faith had a passion for creating items for weddings, baby showers, and housewarming gifts. Decorating was her greatest joy, along with caring for her grandchildren—her grandkids, great-grandkids, and adopted grandkids were the center of her life. Although she wasn't much of a traveler, she cherished the stories and pictures shared by others who explored the world.  She married Randolph Price on December 31, 1972, in Lenoir, NC, and together they had three children. Faith was preceded in death by her son, Damian Lamar Price, who lived at home.

Left to mourn her loss but cherish her precious memories are her beloved husband Randolph Price of the home; daughter Shalandra Price Ferguson of Claremont NC; sons Randy Corneill Price of the home, Shermaine Deshawn Price (Pamela) of Conover, NC, and Dustin Price of the home; Step-daughter Delores Lindsey of Winston-Salem, NC; nine grandchildren: Orlando Price, Donavin Price, Kierany Ferguson, Shamory Price, Anna Adams, Alyssa Price, Taliyah Price, Serenity Peoples, and Za'lan Price; fifteen great-grandchildren: Dorian Arnold, Riley Price, Isabella Price, Nariah Abernathy, Labon Price, Trenton Price, Tre'Vaya Price, Kimani Moore-Price, Ki'myran Price, Sophia Price, Zoey Price, Roman Price, I'yonna Evan, Noah Price, and Luca Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held Thursday December 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Highways to Hedges Ministry with Pastor James Wilfong serving as the eulogist; interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
