David L. Patterson Jr., born to Barbara Patterson and David L. Patterson Sr. at Caldwell Memorial Hospital on January 14, 1999. He made his transition from this earthly life at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, N.C. on Sunday, March 7, 2024. David attended Valmead Elementary, William Lenoir Middle School, and Hibriten High School. He went on to attend Lenoir Rhyne University and Louisburg College. He was employed at GXO Google, and enjoyed football, basketball, fishing, flag football, and pick-up basketball. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family, friends, playing his game.

Left to mourn his loss, but cherish his memory are special friend Alyssa Coleman, children Amarion Jordan and Amara Patterson, parents Barbara Patterson and David Patterson Sr., Grandmothers Hazel Fuller and Cecila Patterson, Brother Malik Connelly, and sisters Lakendall Thomas, T'Easha Bowers, and MiQuishia Patterson. David was preceded in death by Catherine Beasley, Priscilla Fisher, Jacob Patterson, McCoy Connelly, Worwood Patterson Jr., Daniel Fuller.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. David L. Patterson Jr. will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Highways to Hedges Ministry with Pastor James Wilfong serving as the eulogist; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
