Mr. Dale Marvin Dula, 68, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 at UNC Health Blue Ridge. He was born on July 9, 1957 to Higea Dula and Alice Johnsie Harshaw Dula in Caldwell County. Dale was a talented musician and vocalist who played with several bands including the Rhythm Masters and the Shades of Blue. He was also a skilled artist. He retired from the state of NC Broughton Hospital. In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his siblings: Alice Faye, Anthony Wesley, Costella, Higea Delane Dula, Allen Dula, Vondra Johnson, and Claudette Durens.

Left to mourn his loss but cherish his memories are his sisters: Rima Burns of New Jersey and Sylvia Dula of Hartland; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks Stacy, CA, Tim, Monty, the Hartland community and too many others to name all for helping take care of Dale over the years.

A Celebration of Life will take place  Saturday December 13, 2025 in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations, at 1:00 PM.  Let us continue to keep the Dula and connected families in our thoughts and prayers.
