Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ms. Coshia Ann Pearson, 70 of Morganton, who entered into eternal rest on the morning of Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.  Born August 16, 1953, in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Pearson Sr. and the late Irene Connelly.  She was educated in the Burke County School system and worked as a nurse's aide for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Earl Pearson, Gail Jones, Walter Pearson Jr., and Sandra Lipford, as well as a nephew Walter Pearson III.

Left to mourn her loss but cherish her precious memories are her siblings: Linda Perkins (Michael), Robert Neil Pearson, Amanda Pearson, all of Morganton, Alphonso Pearson (Kim) of Bristol, CT, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Coshia Ann Pearson will be held Saturday December 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations; interment will follow at Olive Hill Cemetery.  The family will not receive friends prior to the service; let us continue to keep the Pearson and connected families in our prayers.
