Christian Antonio
Johnson
November 20, 1995 – April 27, 2025
"Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted" – Matthew 5:4
Christian Antonio Johnson entered into eternal peace on April 27, 2025, in New Orleans, LA. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Christian Antonio Johnson (known as Chris or CJ) was born to Katrica V. Hester-McNeill and Phillip Johnson Jr. on November 20, 1995, in Silver Spring, MD and received his education through Prince George's County. Christian was a person of many trades of employment: Panera, Banfield Veterinary Hospital, Dick's Sporting Goods, and had a passion for working out and assisting with coaching the basketball team at O'Neal School.
He attended Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church when his job allowed and would listen via Facebook Live. Christian had an infectious smile, laugh, humor, and his kindness would have an impact on those he came in contact with. If you had a problem with Christian, it would be "very hard" to believe, and we're not just saying that because we are his family.
He was preceded in death by: maternal grandfather Curtis Hester, paternal grandfather Phillip R. Johnson Sr., and cousins Darryl, Deonte', Galen, and Doris
He leaves to cherish his memories: Mother Katrica Hester-McNeill ("Big Guy" Jeff), Father Phillip R. Johnson Jr. (Cassandra), four brothers: Delante' Moses, Christopher Johnson, Phillip Raphel Johnson, and D'Marco Barkley; step-brother Darnell Barkley; fur brother "Coco"; sister Alexia Johnson; step-sisters Brittany (Sam) and Tiffany McNeill; Grandparents James and Elena Rhone, Thomasina Mobley, Sherman and Lucille McNeill; Aunts and Uncles Annette (Markie), Darnzell (Tia), Marquette (Pat), Deborah, Marla, Jason, Wanda (Tim), and Anissa (George); a host of cousins – Lantisha (Henry), Pashanna, Lamara (Brian), Larry Jr., Marcus, Marcquez, Jahtiek, Keyshawn, Charelle, Octavia, Payton, and Alexis (special friend); nieces and nephews: Emmanuel James Moses, Elijah Smith, Emmanuel Smith, Erelah Smith, and many more cousins, family, and friends.
A celebration of Christian's new life will take place Saturday May 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram, NC with Pastor S.C. Craig III serving as eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
