Charles Shannon
Harrison
October 19, 1970 – April 25, 2025
Charles Shannon Harrison, 54 of Charlotte, NC left his earthly home unexpectedly on Friday April 25, 2025, in Lancaster, SC. Born October 19, 1970, in Morganton, Shannon was the son of the late Charles Alexander Harrison and Gloria Leonhardt Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his grandson Izayah Wallace.
Shannon graduated from Freedom High School and stepped into the family-owned exterminating business where he worked for many years. He was currently employed by Smart Electric Company, Inc. Shannon was an affectionate, dedicated, and very hard-working individual, who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved cars, trucks, guns, gardening, and tinkering. You would often find Shannon helping others in any way possible without compensation. He was very family oriented, and his children were his pride and joy. Shannon was a people person who never met a stranger, always laughing, joking, and a joy to be around. Most importantly, he loved spending quality time with his family and those close to him.
Left to cherish his memory are many including his soulmate, Maria Jenkins of the home; daughter Jasmine Avery; sons Shannon Harrison and Cameron Harrison; grandchildren: Kayden Wallace, Kyla Wallace, and Peyton Caldwell; sister Felicia Harrison Griggs; brother Jack Miller; lifelong friend Melinda Avery Baker, Samantha Largent Harrison (mother of sons Shannon and Cameron); his amazing bonus family, including children Jasmin Sudduth, Montae Tate, Javeion Tate, and Camdyn Stover; seven bonus grandchildren that he adored, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Shannon's memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all that were privileged to know him.
