It is with profound sorrow that we announce the transition of Catherine Whisnant, 83 of Morganton, who passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her residence. Left to mourn her loss but treasure her precious memories are her children Tina McColl of California, Joe Irvin of Texas, Jackie Harden of Ontario, CA; brothers Cliff Wolf of Washington and Gerald Wolf of Marina Valley California; grandchildren James Harden of Florida, Amber Guido, Tami Mizell of Arizona, Joey and Robert Irvin of Victorville, CA, James and Jesse Irvin of California, Vanessa Herbert, and Joey Herbert, a host of great-grandchildren, special caregiver Connie "Heavensent" Miller, other relatives and friends.

The family will celebrate the life of Ms. Whisnant privately.  Let us continue to keep the Whisnant and connected families in our thoughts and prayers.
